The free route

Free in the app, permanently, before you pay anything. 8 stops, 1 day, about 4.8 km, planned by the app's own engine.

Day 1 · ~4.8 km

  1. 1

    Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

3600 S Las Vegas Blvd; free seasonal garden displays, past Chihuly's glass lobby ceiling

    Morning · 30 min · free

Walk in through the hotel lobby and look up at Dale Chihuly's ceiling of more than 2,100 glass flowers, then carry on into the glass-roofed conservatory. Go early in the morning, when the garden is quieter and the light through the roof is soft.

  2. 2

    Fountains of Bellagio

8.5-acre lake on Las Vegas Blvd; free water and music shows since 1998, every half hour

    Evening · 30 min · free

Find a spot on the balustrade along the lake and wait for the next show, which starts every half hour from the afternoon until midnight. Watch at least two: each is set to a different song, and after dark the lit water is at its best.

  3. 3

    Paris Las Vegas

3655 S Las Vegas Blvd; 1999 half-scale Eiffel Tower across from the Bellagio fountains

    Any time · 30 min · free

Stand at the foot of the tower and look up through the ironwork. For the best view of the Bellagio fountains from above, take the ticketed ride to the observation deck at 460 feet around sunset.

  4. 4

    Flamingo Wildlife Habitat

3555 S Las Vegas Blvd; free garden of Chilean flamingos at the Strip's oldest operating resort, opened 1946

    Morning · 20 min · free

Walk through the resort to the garden behind it and follow the paths past the pink Chilean flamingos, the pelicans and the koi ponds. It is one of the few shaded, green spots in the middle of the Strip.

  5. 5

    Caesars Palace

Las Vegas Blvd at Flamingo Rd; 1966 Roman-themed resort with fountains, statuary and a Brahma shrine

    Evening · 30 min · free

Walk up the long drive past the fountains and statues to the four-faced Brahma shrine near the entrance, cast in Bangkok. Look for the 18-foot copy of Michelangelo's David, then wander into the Forum Shops.

  6. 6

    The Venetian Las Vegas

3355 S Las Vegas Blvd; 1999 Venice replicas with Rialto Bridge, campanile and outdoor canal, on the Sands site

    Evening · 40 min · free

Cross the replica Rialto Bridge from the Strip and walk past the Doge's Palace and the campanile beside the outdoor canal. Then go inside to the Grand Canal Shoppes, with its recreated St. Mark's Square.

  7. 7

    Sphere

255 Sands Ave; 366-foot LED-covered dome east of the Venetian, lit since 2023

    Evening · 20 min · free

After dark, watch the images that play across the outside of the dome; a walk along the Venetian side or the pedestrian bridges gives a clear view. You do not need a ticket to see the exterior.

  8. 8

    Wynn Las Vegas

3131 S Las Vegas Blvd; 2005 curved tower on the Desert Inn site with a flower-filled atrium

    Any time · 30 min · free

Walk in to the atrium, where live trees and changing flower arrangements fill a naturally lit hall. Then look back at the curved bronze-glass tower from the Strip, and at the artificial mountain that hides the lake behind it.
